A change of mind.

Had dinner with my brother and sister in law last week. Hadn't seen them in some while. They are staunch democrats and I had been instructed NOT to talk about politics (yes dear).

In the middle of dinner he does bring up something or other (doesn't matter what) and in the course of discussion (with me mostly listening) he declares that he is now a "Never Trump Republican" . v. .much like Bill Maher, who hasn't yet come to realize it.


With the conversion of Elon Musk and Joe Rogan before him, we may have reached the tipping point on some of this progressive Woke stuff.

So, what prominent long term lefty will come over next?

Definitely NOT ME.

Check around among those you know. There are some who are wavering.

Certanly the whole of the Biden years (Covid shoots, open borders, dementia deniers and all of it) has swayed many long time Democrats to the middle and further right.

The ridiculous Sidney Sweeney thing is the most recent foolishness chipping away at the knee jerk progressive agenda.

I think that The Catlyn Clark fiasco in the WNBA could be another.
