The dumpster is about to tank the strongest economy in the world and the culties can't wait!!
Well, by firing the person that reports the waning jobs market and showing that jobs are being added very slowly 73000 last month and a reduction of 250,000 for May and June from what were dwindling numbers, he can’t continue to lie to and through his minions without people hearing the truth.

That’s the play right. If ya don’t like the truth, fire folks and tell lies. I’m sure his minions on here will justify his actions and claim the deep state is lying about ADP data and Dept of Labor Stats.
Commissioner McEntarfer was apparently doing an acceptable job from Jan until now. Was she incompetent reporting job increases those months?
Well from here out I look forward to a million jobs added each month being reported by the Trump appointed commissioner. Or maybe a billion, I mean why not. It a million is good, a billion has to be better.

This will rank up there with his Covid reporting. Something to the effect of “there wouldn’t be high positive Covid numbers if we didn’t test people”.

Seems donny believe that US citizens taking up the slack for kicking out the bad hombres has not had the upswing in employment numbers he thought would happen.

This is par for the course with Trump. If you don’t like the results then you just need to cheat.

He actually said. ‘I believe the numbers were phony ... so I fired her’

What exactly did people think was going to happen when the administration fires government employees en masse while placing the private sector into a state of chaos.

Who would want to start hiring people in the middle of the mess we have now?

Paul Krugman writes: One thing is clear: The previously reported good numbers were proof of Trump’s brilliance. Now that they’ve been revised away, the bad numbers are clearly Biden’s fault, or maybe Jerome Powell’s, or Barack Obama’s.
The job numbers reports have been revised a lot later by 2 to 4 months for the last two years. This person should have been fired as it appears they just pull numbers out of thin air then change them latter when it becomes obvious their numbers were wrong.

Who the fuck is going to want that job? You either have to lie about the numbers to keep it with Trump in office, or you actually do your job and report the numbers, and you'll get fired because his policies suck and that will start to be heavily reflected in the monthly labor reports.

Funny how that lady was doing her job just fine when they were favorable to the childish geezer in chief. And now she is all of a sudden incompetent and unworthy of serving in his administration full of ass kissing flunkies.

If Trump wants lower interest rates firing the person reporting low jobs numbers isn’t the way to do it. A stagnant economy usually requires lower interest rates to juice investment.

The real scary part though is that prices are going to continue to rise once the tariffs are passed through the system while investment in jobs will be stalled while businesses try to adapt to the new normal.

i.e. We might be in for a run of stagflation in the near future.

As David Brooks said on Friday’s PBS Newshour.

“The weakness of authoritarian or pseudo authoritarian regimes is that they create an atmosphere in which it’s not possible to be honest with the executive.

And so you walk around filled with distorted information. Donald Trump’s firing of this person is symptomatic of the way information and honesty are being distorted up and down.”

Trump is systematically destroying the umpires in the government so that the administration can cheat at will because there will be no one left who will speak the unbiased truth without the threat of dismissal.

Trump has fired hundreds of thousands of federal workers. ICE has arrested and deported hundreds of thousands of illegals as well. I'm fine with job losses if it's illegals and government employees. I don't care what the jobs numbers are. As long as US born workers(including Democrats) gain jobs and foreign workers lose jobs, I'm happy with that. America First! This appears to be the case.

Most all financial experts predicted this.

How hard is it to get a document, a green card, temporary residency, work visa, just anything, to avoid being deported? Not that hard. If you've been here a long time, and didn't bother to get some kind of documentation, and get deported, who's fault is that? If you have any documentation whatsoever, you're here legally, and ICE won't deport you. Remember that.
