I have often wondered about this too. American escorts are more expensive, often skanky, and could result in legal repercussions for the consumer of their services. I suppose that many hobbyists are simply put off by the added difficulty of going outside of their comfort zone even though it is not particularly hard to cross into MX. i for one would be more inclined if i had the fast pass because i dont have the luxury of speding 2+ hours at the border crossing wait times...i have ventured out, but would like to do it more frequently...was waaaaay better before the 2011 incident (sigh)
