Bloomfield Italian festival

Has anyone ever went to the Bloomfield Italian festival over the years?

I'm from the country, is it a safe area? Is it easy to park there?

Any information would be very helpful and appreciated.

Thank you
... Hmmmm ... I think yer okay safety-wise over in that area, mate.
That Italian Festival is Popular... Not sure about the parking
situation - Bambino would know - but he's on "holiday" right now.

.. So you're from Italy? ... Good for you, mate! ...
Have a jolly time at the Festival!

Safe-ish. I'm rarely concerned walking around Bloomfield, but as you venture off the main path there's some unsavory pockets between the Bloomfield Bridge and Baum on the cemetery side.

A lot of cramped parallel parking if you're not in one of the free lots. Consider the paid lots.

It's safe- unless you're concerned about calories and cash due to too many purchases. Parking is a PITA on that side of town, but there are a few lots, and back streets are easy enough to find a spot. I would recommend not bringing your truck if you have smaller transportation to fit in smaller spaces tho. Food is good, ppl are fun, atmosphere is great.

No Guwedos' or Jabrones' walking up to make you an offer you can't refuse, but you will see a lot of italian flags and pizzelles.
Thanks all your guys. As I started reading the articles I'm thinking I'm not taking my truck I have an old small car I'll take that and then I read yours Eye, And you confirmed it lol.

50% Italian second generation It's super hard nowadays to find anybody hundred percent anything.

Read a big article last year, about the dozen or more non local food trucks that were "Stealing" sales from the brick and mortars, and all the locals pissed off about having parking spaces taken, all the traffic, and the shear amount of non local people coming.

I'd expect a difficult time from the locals, its likely eventually going to turn into the South Side shitshow, we see now.

How many times you been, Devo?
Parking can be a bitch, but I've never once felt unsafe. Who feels "unsafe" at Little Italy Days in Bloomfield? It never even occurred to me that safety was an issue here.

Social lubrication helps, when in large crowds, but I have zero tolerance for ingesting alcohol and then driving.

I drove to the North Sides October Fest as the Designated driver, maybe ten years ago, at the Penn Brewery, and stayed sober the entire time, honestly I watched so many people just be outright drunken asses, it embarrassed me to BE part of the drunken crowd, but it was fun to watch drunk girls squatting on a retaing wall over the highway and pissing onto traffic.

No, have fun, not for me, if I want to eat Italian, I'll make it msyelf, I'd rather cook, than go out, I also don't identify as of any particular heritage, that stayed in Slovenia, when my Grandparents were born here, or in Ireland with my Mothers side

Perhaps if we start a Neanderthal heritage festival, I do know I'm 2 percent Geico Caveman..

We had a local vendor, a food truck that was specifically called out for being in Bloomfieds Italian fest last year, as an Italian poacher from out of town, happened on social media, that's what drew my attention to the article on the festival last year.

About the only exception is local farmers markets in an around Rural PA.
Well I went tonight. It was okay. Finding a parking spot was a trick. Could have been worse. Like all get together are now a days a lot selling windows and gutter guards and home items. It was ok probably won't go again. Thanks for everyone's help.
