I used to do a lot of nuru when I lived and worked in Asia. The vast majority of providers in the states don’t do anything approaching authentic nuru. It’s a marketing buzzword. Many who have it in their ads don’t know what it is. I’ve asked other providers in this area and when pressed for details, they don’t know. I’ve only had one friend here in the states that provided a session that was close to being authentic. Generally I steer clear of those ads.
