The Secretary of 'War' certainly has made himself a bit of a name- good or bad is depending on your perspective. But did the DUI hire get too far out over his ski's with his little covenant meeting of all the chiefs in one place and in person? Personally- he put the highly publicized meeting as a possible terrorist golden ticket opportunity by not only announcing the gathering publicly- but to have all those people in one place. couldn't this have been just an Email??
One nefarious bad actor could have effectively removed all the leadership in the entire US military in one foul swoop and left all a gap of knowledge and leadership that would have taken decades if not longer to replace.
Further- the rhetoric of the speech he gave ( as well as his book promotion), was one for the books. The dumb books. MANY senior leaders in the military are saying- "all this is not only illegal, but wrong on every level". Add to that the gotta shave doctrine for personnel, usually a pass given to those with religious beliefs or black persons who have derogatory health reactions from shaving and it seems bordering past prosecution of race and faith. Two protected classes.
It went on to be even more absurd on his preaching to the highest military ranks who have pledged their allegiance to the constitution of the USA (and not just dear leader)- being preached to about being woke- being toxic, being allegiant, and most importantly- being not a preference towards females who make up 14% or more of the military- and the result was a MAGA Gong show. Kinda like the unknown comic was on stage and looking for laughs with the FA FO commment.
Does Pete Kegseth think that the Millions spent to gather those leaders for the rah-rah session was important enough to meet dear leaders MAGA mindset, and risking the Generals and Admirals et al , being in one 'target rich environment'?
Apparently many were having difficulty in keeping a straight face, while MR. Does Trump think that the national guard has enough troops to confine the population during his not so veiled attempt to begin marshall law, despite the overt illegality of it by the Posse Comitatus act? I mean, it might work but soon courts will declare these city takeovers as illegal- and without a clear and present danger where whom the bad guys are able to be identified, Trumps only intent is to create a military state in cities that are BLUE generally, thus allowing him to try a 2028 run for a 3rd term instead of facing the music with a fresh flurry of lawsuits, and possible visits to club fed.
