I am back in Orange and looking for decent places to eat or for scenery and entertainment ideas that are unusual or fun here in the area either before or after work

Open from 9 till 5, and free admission, is Shangri La Gardens. Beautiful gardens and a boat ride on Adams Bayou. Call them about boat ride times.

Good restaurant is Tia Juanita’s on Sunset Drive; mixed menu
Another good restaurant is Guadalajara
For a good Chicken Fried Steak, try Spanky’s

And, of course, you already know about Ten West cafe!

Well good evening darling I have just arrived back in Orange tonight to my hotel I had to run back to Lake Charles for an eye doctor visit today but will be here for a couple of days and I most certainly do appreciate the recommendations I will call tomorrow about the gardens as well I know that my sister may be coming to see me up this way I would love to take her to something like that that would be great are they doing boat tours tomorrow as well

Blue bird fish camp is a nice lunch spot as well. There is a Italian place over by Walmart that is good too. Can't remember the name, small place good food.
