Venturing out

Hi guys, I have enjoyed my visits to El Paso, so I am going to visit some other cities while I am in West Texas.

Can I get some suggestions on the best areas to stay in Amarillo or Abilene? It is completely new territory for me!

Excited about seeing established friends and making new ones!

Nearly all hotels are safe in Amarillo. Most of the nicer hotels are in the medical district. A couple of nice hotels are downtown. There are also a lot of nice restaurants in Amarillo offering a variety of cuisines.

El Paso is the best please come back soon!

Rumor has it that the Plaza Inn in Midland Texas (4108 NBig Spring St.) Is a favorite hangout/sting location for Midland PD and Texas DPS.

Agree with sidekick hotels and restaurants are plentiful in Amarillo. West side and downtown, 27 around Hollywood, new hotel east near the airport. Look forward to your visit
