To search by image on Google, go to images.google.com and click the camera icon to either upload an image from your computer or paste an image URL. On mobile, use the Google app or Chrome browser to tap the camera icon to take a photo or upload an existing one. You can also tap and hold an image online in the Chrome app to search it.
On a computer
Navigate to images.google.com.
Click the camera icon in the search bar.
Choose your method:
Upload an image: Click "Upload a file" and select an image from your computer.
Paste a URL: Click "Paste image link," then paste the URL of the image you want to search.
Drag and drop: Drag an image file from your computer directly into the search box.
Click Search to see the results.
On a mobile device
Using the Google app or Chrome:
Open the app and tap the camera icon in the search bar.
Take a new photo or tap your gallery icon to select an existing one.
Allow the app access if prompted.
From a website in Chrome:
Go to the website with the image.
Touch and hold: the image.
Tap "Search image with Google" (Chrome app) or "Search inside image" (Google app).
Using the Google Lens feature:
In the Google app, after uploading or taking a photo, Google Lens will automatically detect objects.
You can tap on a specific area to refine the search or add text to your query.
