Yes, Obama. Why? Well, because Cheney did more than any other individual to drive the GWB presidency -- and by extension the Republican Party of the mid-to-late '00s -- into the ditch.

Without that abject fiasco of a war, would the Republicans have been quite so easily beatable in 2006 and 2008? Obviously, that's hard to say, as there was a lot happening with the brewing housing market crisis, etc. -- and it's uncertain whether absent the Iraq war, the Fed and Treasury may have chosen a different policy path which could possibly have mitigated the severity of the financial crisis.

Nonetheless, I think those twin catastrophes certainly added a lot of impetus to the Obama campaign.
