If you have plan this week or next week to fly out of Love Field or DFW, check your flight

FAA cutting flights at 40 airports across the USA by 10% until the Federal government shutdown ends, whenever that might be.

Love Field and DFW are two of the 40 airports

What is 10% at each airport anyway?

100 flights?

Which airlines?

Will some airlines have more flights affected than another airline?

p.s. both Houston Hobby and Houston IAH are also on the list.

I'm really surprised it took this long to get to this point.

If i'm working ATC and not getting paid i'm calling in Sick, they already have a shortage of ATC so what will they do when this is over? Terminate you? I doubt it.

Don't these ATC have money saved for a rainy day?

They were living paycheck to paycheck?

They can't work without a paycheck?

The starting salary for a new ATC is $81,000 a year.

The average salary for an ATC is $144,580 a year and the salary for ATC supervisors is over $200,000 a year.

Yet they are broke after not getting paid for 2 weeks in the past month since the shutdown begin.

One missed paycheck and they are already broke?

Some are even doing UberEats and DoorDash and driving Uber and Lyft to make money,

Fired all 13,000 ATC and kept the air traffic flying.
