Same thing is happening to me. Trying to access the site on my Wifi doesn't work. Loading up on VPN just fine. Same thing with my phone, on Wifi, doesn't work. On cellular, loads up fine. Just started happening this week.
For all....
It's your browser.
Clean it out as mentioned above in post 2.
Different types of browsers may have slightly different methods.
Consider adding eccie.net to you safe sites list in your anti virus software.
The site does not load up at all when using Private Browsing (or similar) in Firefox, Edge and Chrome. It will not accept the HTTPS and returns an error message that the site is not secure.
wiped the browser, like deleted it and downloaded another one.. still no luck. Yet I turn on a VPN and loads right up. Odd, figure if it was a just settings or browser issue it would still not load VPN or not.
Nothing has changed on my end; been using Eccie for 10 years or so and now have issues on both iPhone and laptop. Some issue is going on for me and other users.
Cant open sites unless with VPN. Tried clearing cache all those things but its the same issue with laptop/phone/tab so not sure whats going on. Finally got a VPN, works for now
Same situation, even more so. Recently back from Mexico where I accessed Eccie just fine on my hotel wifi. Now back home and not one of my MacBook Air, iPad, or iPhone can access Eccie using wifi on my Verizon Home wifi/router. Only my iPhone using the over-the-air network can access. Of course, I flushed cashe, powered off and on devices, and even forced a hard restart on the router to factory settings. There are no parental controls and no virus softward installed. Nothing helped. Zip. Interrestingly, my iphone connected successfully to a restaurant's wifi when I was out for Sunday brunch. It seems that Eccie has denied my whole IP block.
There is discussion on the other site about this. It appears to be a problem for folks with AT&T Fiber, and may have been a result of a recent software upgrade. At the moment there doesn’t appear to be an easy solution without getting off WiFi, since AT&T’s equipment doesn’t allow you to use an alternate DNS service. Some folks report that they have been able to access with VPNs, depending on the country you choose.
