I need an education on burner phones

I have an old Samsung I can use but I need a service provider. Preferably, something sold at Walmart that does not require a credit card.

You may need to provide personal information when activating it (either by calling or online). Create an identity and have the info handy for reference, they don't verify just need info for their records.

Even better for those that already have a phone. I'm glad to see that the burner phone world has come a long way from the last time I was in the game.

Use Straight Talk from Walmart.
Find a DUAL SIM phone. You have your normal SIM from your normal carrier, plus a second sim from some cheeky carrier like Straight Talk.

How a phone gets tracked is the ESN (electronic serial number) of the phone is paired with the SN of the SIM to make the ESSN (too many acronyms) so when a call is in progress the ESSN can be traced but that goes back only to the carrier, not the phone type. The carrier is where user data is.

So if you give basic info like "Name: Joe Smith" address: (something bogus) & use prepaid Visa cards etc... essentially tracing it back will some 3 lettered agency that usually resides in Washington DC then you have 1 device 2 phone #'s

I have seen these in action. When you go to dial a # either manual entry or from contacts it asks you which phone # you wish to do. You can even set numbers in your contact list to ONLY use 1 of the numbers.

If you need to dump the burner number all you need to do is remove the sim and toss it. Get a new one and set it up.
