Just curious, Has bartering or exchange of services ever been explored on this forum? Obviously client/provider exchanges would be the main focus but possibly client/client
exchanges too? Maybe? I'm guessing there's lots of talent on this forum waiting to to be tapped, so to speak. Has the idea ever been explored?

@ Ramos - I was wondering about the same thing. Well, client/provider that is. I'm new here and I do not want to begin by breaking any rules. I did a search on "barter" and it lead me here. Not sure how or where to post my "services". The ISO section seemed appropriate, but still not certain. Suggestions anyone?

Actually, I'm fairly new too. I was on the old board before it went down, and then joined up again a year ago but haven't been very active. Well, if enough members were interested maybe they could set up a sub-forum here. People could list their skills/needs and pm one another with offers. If enough people were interested a pass-protected web site could be set up. Lots of possibilities, if there is interest.

CVRG & Ramos .... I'm just throwing it out there, whats the worse is sum1 not reply..lol but yea the past few days I have encountered quite a few gentlemen who have bought ' gifts' instead. I think I liked the idea.. Lol cant wait to hear about barter for spurs tix.. Im pretty sure comp techs, mechanics, and car dealership owners could benefit ... Well have a great Tuesday!

Yeah Sweet, I think you may have come up with something really worthwhile. With the economy the way it is now, some of us would be much more inclined to offer a skill like car repair, computer technology ,or what have you, in return for other services.
I'm wondering if an email list by subscription only, would work to hook folks up. Gotta think about this some more.
It would be cool if this forum would support such a thing, but I kind of doubt that they would since what is involved could be misconstrued and they could have think authorities after them. Maybe not, don't know the legalities involved. But lets keep thinking about it. An email list would be easy to set up.
