40 years ago, I was hit by a car, knocked out and thrown though the plate glass window of Fashion Gal at Wyandotte Plaza. Woke up in a pile of broken glass without a scratch on me. 1/10 would only recommend if you REALLY needed the mid-day nap.


Not only did I go back to school the next day, I was at my second grade Parent/Teacher conference that very evening. On the plus side, I did get to ride to Providence in the front of the fire truck where my father picked me up without being medically assessed.


We were made out of different material back then.

It was a weekday evening, no one around, but we closed the curtains anyway.
