Downtown Des Moines in March

I'll be in downtown DM this March for a few nights and curious on thoughts on best things to do/see/eat/drink.

Take a short drive to Jesse's Embers at 3301 Ingersoll for a great meal. Not exactly downtown, but certainly close. I was a regular there when I lived in Des Moines.
