The ability to search for providers is great. We can filter by location, age, ethnicity, etc..
What's not so great is there seems to be no way of sorting the search results. Providers are listed from A-Z. It doesn't matter if a provider hasn't been active for the past 10 years, if her name starts with A, she'll be near the top of the search results.
Suggestion: Allow members to filter and sort results based on multiple factors like, last active, date joined, number of posts, number of encounters, etc.

When I search the Member list for females in a certain location I get 100s of women . Then I click on the "Last Visit" column header and it sorts from the most recent log in down..

I click on members list on the left side, then when the page comes up scroll over then click on search member, when the box drops down click advanced search then the filters come up but not the ones you mentioned. From there I enter location, then last posted date, then last active date. This narrows it down a lot, but there are other filters if you want to use them. Like JB said once you search comes up if you want to rearrange them just click on the top header on the column. I hope this gets you a little closer to where you want to be, but I agree the filters you mentioned would help. This is the link to where I filter if it works.
