I had dancer tell ICE showed up at BDD on Tuesday.
Anyone know if it’s true or if this will cause changes.

My friend that works there said it was the police investigating the death in the parking lot. She said a lot of the girls thought it was ICE and hid in the bathrooms, and she was afraid too, but then heard it was just the police.

I imagine if ICE showed up - half the club would be empty lol

Every time arrests are made at a strip club, everyone claims it's an ICE raid. Simply not true. ICE may go along with a police raid or warrant roundup to catch the low hanging fruit, but it's PD that are doing the undercover work. And PD has been known to check papers during busts. If illegals are found, they often get turned over to ICE. But I have yet to hear of even one time ICE has bene the lead on any of these.

You aren’t listening then. DPD has come out and said that they are only involved for security. Obviously they are involved significantly more but that is the line they take for city liability reasons. And frankly it’s easier for ICE to come in when the city/county/state has someone on legitimate (or illegitimate) charges. They are working together. Many of the charges wouldn’t hold up long except for the fact that the accused is already deported, or added up the lawyer fees and decided go to the home country and perhaps come back another day.

For those who want shitty clubs with ugly girls, your plan is working. The good side however is OTC is easier now because the dancers have an increased desire to be more private than before.

it's low hanging fruit, but it is what it is, if they (ICE/Feds) decide to do spot checks, and if all papers/IDs are in order there's no reason to be worry.
