I do have to say...I thank you for being honest about having them. There some ladies out there who would lie and deny. You've told the truth about it. But there just has to be another way to be safe that doesn't require guys to be video recorded coming to see you. High end hotels have cameras and security. You could only see guys verified by 4 reputable ladies.

Because you've been so honest, I bet business would go up if you found another way announced you weren't recording anyone (in or out of your room)

Blaming "murderers" for you taking unreasonable steps is wild. Imagine if guys demanded to film sessions with you because there have been times where the dude's safety has been put at risk with pimps/boyfriends busting in the room. Would you take their word that it's just for their safety and that they're not doing anything with the recording? I respect providers enough to not secretly record them, regardless of what precarious situation I'm putting myself in.

As Anthony said above, a camera won't stop a murder. Ostensibly, the recording is for recourse AFTER the crime has already been committed. That being the case, there are SO many other ways to keep yourself safe than recording ALL OF YOUR CLIENTS while they are at their most vulnerable and you having full ownership and control of that footage.

A ring cam would be one reasonable solution. It is faced outdoors, and captures everyone coming in and out.

If a hobbyist from here did anything illegal, it wouldn't be hard for detectives to track him down. There is already a mountain of digital footprint around, other providers he's seen, cell phone data, provider cell tower data, a canvassing of street cams/neighbor doorbell cams/store survillance of all vehicles passing in and out of streets near your home, just to mention a few.

FYI, in Texas it is illegal to record someone in a place where there is an expectation of privacy, esp bathrooms and bedrooms, without the subject's consent. Regardless of whether you live streamed, or even if you deleted the recording the next day, the crime has already been commited from the camera being there recording.

With that said, I respect that you removed the cameras. I would think that it's common sense that it would bother people, but at least you realized it and took appropriate action.
