On a recent trip towards the north side of town, I thought I would make a visit across from N. Star Mall. I recall the highway exit, taking the turn-a-round, parking and walking through the door. Instead I found myself caught between Queens and Staten Island. Seemed like an attractive area. I was informed by one of the locals that the weather there was moist almost daily. However when it came to the 'minimum' price of admission to enjoy one of the rides it was 20k of those tokens that are no longer being minted. I thought to myself, I know I have some kind of substitute in one of my pockets. After further review, I decided I would no longer chat up with anyone from that borough ever again. It was a abrupt end to what could have been many beautiful trips away from home...
