Iranian Assassination Hoax

This ridiculous government of ours is now sinking to new depths of absurdity, depravity, and incredulity.

1.There is no reason for Iran to assassinate ANYONE on US soil whose job it is to regularly travel all over the world. Iran or any other government on thin ice with the US would never do that.

2.The very idea of assassinating a neighboring country's diplomat for no apparant reason is absurd. There's no motive at all given for this. We are expected to believe that it's just one of those evil things those evil Iranians are prone to do simply because they are such bad guys.

3.When Iran does commit assassination [which btw they do in fact do] they do so using their own assets conducting the matter in normal ways - they would never seek to contract with "members of a Mexican cartel." This part is laughable, and chosen by this hoax's authors to link the evil of Iran with that of another growing malevolant force growing in the public's mind.

The motive for this hoax is transparant. It's meant to give Holder something to crow about in a pathetic attempt to distract attention from his orders to sell thousands of weapons to the Sinalowa Cartel, which is supported by the Mexican national government and now apparantly by ours.

This President and his crooked buddies from Chicago have become little more than a joke.

How interesting would it have been if the assination was successful and the gun used was from Fast and Furious.
There were no means of supposedly "tracking" the arms shipped to Sinalowa via "Fast and Furious."

Apparantly it was decided that Sinalowa should be armed, and the ridicuous figleaf to bring it about was this completely stupid scheme.

It's also apparant they'll get away with it regardless of how stupid or naked it is.

When Geo. W. got away with torture, extra-judicial killings, ordering his cabinet members to purjure themselves, etc., all accountability in this government was thrown to the winds.

This president will pay no price for his many similar crimes.

Ah for the days of Nixon...

Can you imagine any of today's toady Attornies General resigning rather than follow an illegal command from his president the way Nixon's resigned!

Now tell me this country's values have not gone down the toilet in the last thirty years...

Bill Ruckelshaus is the Nixon official to whom you're referring.

He was the first head of the EPA and was Deputy AG when Nixon ordered him to fire Archibald Cox. He resigned.

He went back to EPA later and then quit to become CEO of Browning-Ferris Industries. I met him a few times. He was a man of true principle and was so committed to pioneering recycling that BFI went down the tubes.

That said, the notion that the Nixon administration should be admired for its integrity is utter horseshit. TAE, I guess you'll be extolling Idi Amin next.

Holy CHIT!
Come on. Not everything is a conspiracy.

So far every Iran expert I've seen commentating in the media has agreed with me that the Iranian Quds has never behaved in this screwy manner before - using a loser used car salesmen from Austin to try to contract with a peasant thug from Mexico to kill a diplomat in New York. The idea of the Iranians pulling such a boner is laughable. The Iranians actually have one of the most effective Humint and CA capabilities around. They operate in Brazil, Argentina, and several other countries nearby. They are proficient at assassinating enemies of their government in normal ways. This ridiculous story is so moronic only the American media could possible swallow it.

Does anyone remember Saddam Hussein's "weapons of mass destruction" which were never really there?

If you recall everyone in the media and government said they were there....but the rarely asked experts from the UN observer teams who acrtually knew what he had [and didn't have] all said HE HAD NOTHING.
How could such a mistake be made? How could those "secret agents" working for our government have made all this up? Could it have been...uh...a conspiracy? Could it possibly be that these people made it all up and passed it along to a gullable media because it served their agendas? Hh...yeah dude.

This is exactly the same situation. And just like the idiotic "weapons of mass destruction" claims the first to jump on the phoney American government bandwagon are the lapdog Brits, as today their toady PM in Parliament called for the further punishment of Iran because of this "terrorist" event.

btw....after Nixon's Attorney General resigned he gave the same order to two successors who also resigned rather than knuckle under to Nixon's corrupt demand. When the order fell the Solicitor General however the order was finally carried out by him...that feckless person was Robert Bork.
I think this assassination thing was a joke. First of all, the cartels were not going to kill a Saudi Ambassador for a lousy million. Secondly, they know that if the US found out they were involved, the US would very likely go after them in Mexico. Third, the Iranians do not want a war with the US and killing Americans on US soil is an act of war since bombing a restaurant would have killed innocent civilians. Obama has shown he's willing to go to war. And last a Saudi Ambassador? he's a nobody. Why kill him? The Iranians can kill him in Saudi Arabia for a hundred bucks. I think it was blown out of proportion to give us a reason to attack Iran over its nuclear ambitions which I think we will do within the next 12 months.
In the last 24 hours there have been a score of former CIA Officers, including Bob Baer and Ray McGovern, who have declared it a hoax.

There isn't a single former CIA Officer who's suggested otherwise. Even the usually gullable NYT is calling it fishy.

At this point therefore I have to rest my case.

I failed however to grasp the full implications of this mess.

Apparantly the US has sold bunker-buster munitions to Israel which Bush refused to do, and we might be in a countdown for a joint attack on Iran.

I hope the uniformed officer corps will prevail in their efforts to put an end to this debacle before it gets out of hand.

If it smell like bs, then it is bs. I thought the whole story was too funny linking the Zetas to Iran coincidentally. Two thorns in the US. Now they have their excuse to put a woop ass on Iran and the Zetas.

What can you really believe these days.
