Miami, Ft Lauderdale, WPB neighborhoods

Hi everyone! I used to live in FLL and WPB but it's been over 6 years since I've been there and frankly, I wasn't being a naughty girl at the time so I didn't view the areas in terms of client access, hotels with busy enough lobbies/bars to blend in, etc. Can anyone recommend appropriate neighborhoods for this sort of thing in Miami, FLL and WPB (or DM for specific hotels or other rec's)? Thanks!
