Power mad mod

Y'all are going to lose all of your long term contributing members if you don't reign in one of your mods. He's literally driving away members with his arbitrary handing out of infractions for absolutely no reason. This used to be one of the better eccie forums in the country with lots of great conversations and information sharing. It has become a place where open discussion is discouraged and penalized leading to many members choosing to abstain from contributing.

UC you've always been a reasonable man and I have nothing but respect for you. Please look at the comments in the AMP thread that I received an infraction for. How can this be considered hijacking the thread? I was literally asking if the girl who is going by the name Candy could be Grace who worked at that shop in the past. The physical description and demeanor fits for her perfectly. I was curious if anyone knew if it was her. I was literally asking a question about the girl in the thread. Not in any way hijacking or changing the subject. And yeah I'm a bit angry about receiving an infraction. I am, without a doubt, one of the most consistent contributing members of this forum. I feel I have been treated unfairly and I know that I am not the only one.

That was a LONG time ago. Like it was mentioned in the other thread, the landscape has changed drastically and moderation has been updated accordingly.


Are the mods being overzealous? Sounds like it. But considering how much nonsense is "this toothless 90 year old on STG robbed me. I recommend her" or just folk making up names for the AMP gals?

The locals did that. I still remember when the owner of Cici's and his friends/alts were actively discouraging anyone from mentioning that AAMP or even talking about how we all knew the guy's name because he texted from his personal cell with caller ID and the like.

I am through with this dip already!!!! Handing out infractions to me for bullshit!!! Well obviously everyone else too!!
