“Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth jokingly said any surge in takeout deliveries to the Pentagon — a phenomenon that has accurately predicted the start of major geopolitical events — could be him ordering pizza “just to throw everybody off.”
However, the article raises a couple serious questions that both sides of Congress should answer. Such as:
-why is the Defense Secretary worried and watching pizza order websites? If it’s a concern, he has minions to do that. Why would he be wasting his time ordering pizza?
-Why should the Taxpayers fund late night food? In an era of desperation for reducing the budget, how many free meals do we pay for. At civilian jobs, you work late, you bring your own food or go buy your own.
-Ordering multiple pizzas at random times just to screw with a website certainly is a waste of Taxpayers money
-the X account the Pentagon is spending resources to monitor looks more like a joke than anything serious
-why do we give government employees free food anyway? They are overly compensated to begin with
-why is Hegseth wasting time talking about such nonsense as a Pizza report……he has better things to do. If a reporter asks about it, laugh and go to the next question…..ignore baiting questions
It just makes one wonder how much money is spent by the government everywhere for free food for people who are paid well enough to pay their own way………while those same well compensated people work to remove Soda and stuff from SNAP benefits…..
