If you really think that this supposedly “NEW” version of the war on drugs is going to be successful I would recommend you look into the history of our military interventions in Central America in the eighties.
Using the military to fight drug trafficking is likely to be turned against us in the long run.

Whatever America is winning in Ecuador hopefully it will counter-balance the loss Americans are dealing with in a different theatre of war pertaining to the gas pump/higher energy prices, increases in goods & services, a weak dollar, and higher taxes as a result of the Straight of Hormuz being closed to traffic other than to Russian and Chinese ships in Trumps endless wars. He's just like his predecessor.
