Hotel recommendations

Looking to spend some time with a woman in the Ames area. My wife works during the day and I’m wanting to check in at 9AM without any silly fees. I’d check out around noon. I’m seeing a lot of hotels list a fee for late check in and checkout times about 11. I’ve considered this obstacle with my schedule but haven’t ran into it until now. Which hotels are more flexible and won’t be assholes?
