The Office in Lincoln... Alive & Kickin'

Perhaps you've heard some news about The Office losing their liquor license in media. Not true.
Stopped by seeing cars in lot and they are open and serving alcohol. City council recommended no license but is getting appealed. I don't think they get final say anyway.
Some fun and fresh talent on hand when I was there. Peaches is a sweetheart and Strawberry (I think?) looks delicious. Love the laid back atmosphere there as opposed to the pushy hustle at Foxy.

They have it for another couple weeks. They did lose it but got one month left as of a couple weeks ago. I have a friend who works there.
DaDuchess,

Any word if it will be for sale or if someone else will keep it open?

DaDuchess I"m afraid you're friend is wrong. There is the ultimate decision by the liquor commish. Lincoln City Council can say what they want but the Commish has final say. And then beyond that is the courts. So no they have not lost it.
Important to be accurate regarding legality of things.
As I understand it there are things in the works so anything is possible. Including taking the offending party off of the ownership.

Stay tuned.
Is this related to a couple people getting killed in the parking lot, the legal issues surrounding the owner trying to get state officials to do unlawful stuff or both?

I just remember there have been some weird news stories in Lincoln and strip clubs. Also something about them trying to get Omaha ones shut down.

This has to do mainly with a couple of the business partners (but primarily just one) in cahoots with the former liquor commish. The shooting, of course, has no bearing on their license yet it gets thrown around by police and city council like it's the club's fault.
During the city council meeting on this the investigator got to throw out terms like sex trafficking and prostitution like it was proven fact and without objection or rebuttal. There are no such charges on record or even filed. But it gets suggested by police and hangs in the air.
