For sure this IT guy I saw says it’s like a cyber robot that constantly annoyingly hacks the site causing all of us to struggle to log on. I pray they fix it I enjoy taking care of the hobbiest there!

The tools have been around for decades. Cloudflare, Cloudstrike, usually work in background so you don't even see them when you log on to a site THAT PAYS FOR THEM. Then there's the good ole' Captcha that makes you pick lo-res pictures of Picasso paintings....


The point is, the admins made a post sometime over the weekend when the site was up for about 30 seconds. They admitted that their software was ancient and vulnerable to bot attacks. Then they stated something to the effect that they couldn't find a hosting server company that would overlook or disregard FOSTA / SESTA.


DUH! If any hosting company, regardless of location, wants to be accessible in the USofA, they have to agree to abide by FOSTA / SESTA.


The hosting companies that don't agree are basically known as the "dark web".


Yes, every time you log on to that site you are likely logging on to the dark web, where there are no safeguards, and everybody is trying to hack into everybody else.


And I bet that fewer than 1% of the people trying to use that site are using a good (as in, you have to pay for it) VPN connection.


Think of it as BBFS with someone you know is infected with every known STD.


And then log onto here to complain about not being able to access the provider listings that gave you the STDs.
