Just had a female friend who got huge breast implants. So freakishly big she looks like a cartoon character I would sketch when bored in study hall. Between all her face work and boob job people can't stop staring -and don't think in a good way. Someone called her the Lion Lady after resemblance to Oz's Cowardly Lion. Her sincere warm inside noway matches her fake outside.
Is this a form of mental illness??

I certainly take OP point, but these are procedures done willingly by adults capable of making their own decisions, good or bad. Lif fillers often overdone. There was report on a program not 60 minutes but similar of Florida clinics run by a doctor but BBLs done by unqualified practitions or just at their homes with horrendous results, as also put all kinds of inappropriate chemicals into body on lieu of silicone. Boob jobs much more established and properly done have improved lives of lot of women but certainly not all. Lot of peer pressure in some corners of modelling world on BBLs and can just go for rounder look, not freakishly huge. All free will-your body, your choice. Of course, others have free will to have no physical desire for such ladies

As respects lip filler, there is a middle ground, doesn't have to result in duck face. Some ladies are born with very thin lips, and properly done can be fuller and more normal looking that one likely wouldn't even notice.Not really that different from most cosmetic surgeries

Known more breast reduction gals (to eliminate constant back issues) than enhanced boob job gals.
And agreed-- a mild boob job and occasional filler in wrinkles can boost self esteem.
