I decided I needed a new hobby phone. Originally I went to Walmart and noticed the Tracfone sign said it must be activated at the checkout. When I asked about it the guy said he would have to see my drivers license.
So I went to Family Dollar and was surprised when I got a flip phone with 1 year of service (1500 talk 1500 text) for $50 cash with no questions.
When I registered it at Tracfone I gave a fake name and a bogus address. No issues.
This phone will never be on my WiFi and doesn’t have gps.
What do you use for the hobby? Have you ever had an issue?

No phone issues, however my conflict is with my hobby email address tends to blend into my digital footprint especially when dealing with Google and Microsoft.
