Sometimes rough edges make people more likable. Depends on each person I guess....but I don't like all my friends to be perfectly wrapped, bow tied, shiny presents. (Now, clients fingernails and body parts on the other hand....that's another story.)
In another two page thread only one person used the short form of the word "honey" correctly. Of course it is, hon. Hun was used several times and one actually spelled it out as. "hunny." I always think of Attila The Hun, not a term of endearment when I see this.
