I want to go on a tour for my birth day/week ish

Any ladies or gents have suggestions on where I should go? I have never toured before...only done like day trips when I have been in locations for my other job.

Or tips on places to stay away from

Stella, if you can do more than a day trip, why not look at a map and pick all the major cities that are within a 2-4 hour drive in any direction of Tuscaloosa (that's how it all started with me)--in addition, consider the places saintsFanChris mentioned.
