Dennisrn, thanks for starting the thread.
Thank you fellow vets.
And of course, thank you Sonya and Likinikki for your kind thoughts AND being so damn lovely, talented, and wonderful company.
absolutely Bmerazi ==> and as you well know there was a little more to it than just not having to worry what you were going to wear and whether or not it matched for almost thirty years..
and yes ==> it is indeed enlightening that standard setters like Sonya and Likinikki are in the vast majority of ladies here who choose to be active in this thing we call the "hobby" and above all -- support our veterans the way they do....
HAPPY VETERANS DAY!!!! Some gave all but all gave some!! I went by to visit a few friends today and paid my respects. It seems like almost yesterday after getting back from missions and after debriefs we would get together and play spades and relax a bit before our next op.... After 5 combat tours on a team as an operator serving with the best this country has to offer I always ask myself... Why them and not me???? Some are burried hear at Ft Sam others through out the country like in Arlington, California, Alaska, Alabam and, Lousianna.
I am PROUD to be a MARINE!!!!!!!!!
Thank you all for your support of our veterans. I am proud to be a retired vet. 20 years Navy was enough for me but these kids now a days have it tough. Please continue supporting our service men and women. Remember freedom isn't free. God bless America and our troops.
