Tipping Question

OK, I know a lot of the providers say tipping is not necessary but I can't not tip, unless the service is really bad (and I have not had that happen in my short time doing this.) What's a fair and reasonable tip in Upstate NY? I realize there must be an amount in between "Oh God, that's so small why bother?" and "Wow..that covers my rent for a month!" I usually do 15%...but I'm never sure if that's close to standard.

Any thoughts?

For covered employees, the New York State Minimum Wage rate is $7.15 per hour. This amount may be modified based upon a number of factors. For example, Food Service workers --waiters and waitresses -- who earn at least $2.55 per hour in tips may be paid at a minimum wage rate of $4.60 per hour. Different rates exist for other types of service employees, specified within a set of regulations called a "Wage Order", which addresses the unique aspects of each industry or occupation

so make that 6 bucks as I do not know 6*40= 240 a week.
300*3 guys a week= 900 a week
on your 15 % would be 45, I bet round up to 60

would you tip your lawyer. No, But maybe give him/her scotch once a year.
So give her some wine or beer, wine better as a gift. or some 40% Cream.

for Xmass to the ones I see the most
Not sure yet for "one I use to see the most". maybe a topps or wegmans gift card. and some Cream.

ATF, stockings and darn I need to think more on that.

Hunter, shopping trip for outfits. and maybe also Cream.

to tip a pro is kinda insulting.

This is a topic that I should not touch, LOL
But WTF

Let me put it this way, some ladies get to see lets say 8 to 10 guys a week
At a rate of 300 per hr
So simple math
Weekly income 3,000
Annual income 3,000 x 52 = $156,000 Tax free
Let’s Gross that up to include taxes, insurance and benefits, say 35%
The equivalent of $210,000 per year

Oh, Ok, want to cut that in ½ = $105,000

Ask yourself a question, do you give a tip to someone that makes more money than you?

Next time you go see your physician; please give him/her a tip!

How much do you make per hour at your current occupation?

If you've not experienced a lady who exceeds your expectations, I would encourage you to do so. There are many of them out there--decent ladies who try hard and are really good at what they do. I believe you'll find many who make it hard NOT to tip.

I have had my life lessons in this hobby. You will get yours !

The ladies that I appreciate are rewarded, you do not need to worry about that.

I showed up and when she took care of me so well, she got tipped the same amount the next day.

Her tip was based on performance and my own desire to make sure she remembered me. When I called the next day, I'm sure she remember me and it got me in for another amazing hour with her.

I can't do that often, but when the talent is awesome, I do my best to see the provider again.
