Tmobile pay by the day hobby phone

Sounds like the perfect hobby phone plan (unless you are daaaaaman). Anyone try it?

I used to have it years ago when all my friends had sidekicks. It was great as I mainly used my phone for texting and chatting and kept calls to a minimum. I never had any problems with the service.
