Well, houstonguy09, you didn't leave us a whole lot to go off of, soooo....
Here's a link which might help narrow the search down a bit. There's all sorts of stuff posted in there.
(I posted #5 in that thread so feel free to check it and skip the Stock Show and Rodeo because it's already gonzo. BUT, Fiesta is upon us and that's HELLA' Fun!
The other options are also still good )
Don't know if you're inclined to culture, but the McNay museum of art is unique in the world. It has no ropes, no separation between the public and the works. Renown artists, particularly impressionists, and always worthy temp exhibits. Is in a converted estate, and gives an impression itself of the elegance San Antonians once possessed. It's a beautiful and tranquil island in an otherwise noisy, garish wasteland, which is more and more like Houston everyday.
Well, I am tool late I guess. I was gonna spend good friday in SA but didn't happen. Anyways I was looking in the attractions, night life , bars , clubs area.......
Back in the day this town had several private and worthy public clubs and a lot of action. Today however all the places you will find will be tourist joints or venues where you are more likely to be stabbed or shot than have any real fun. This town is a mere shadow of what it used to be, and all the colorful characters of the past are found only in its graveyards.
