Seeking advice for visting a really big city

Hey Ladies,
I am in search of some advice and suggestions, whether directly or indirectly, regarding a visit to NYC. How should I go about planning a trip?

1.) How can I test the waters, or let people know who I am in a place I've never been while not violating websites' "visiting ad policies"?
2.) Are there certain types of hotels to look for/stay away from? Is high-end better; what's a good star rating? What are men comfortable with?
3.) Should I increase my rates or keep them the same?
4.) What are other saftey measure one should take?

My first visit was to Dallas, it turned out OK. My second visit was just over to Austin, that was a complete waste of my time. I'm not sure what all I should/can do to make this all worth my time.

I've tried searching the boards but I must not be searching the right terms.
Thank you all in advance.

Hi,

The first thing I can say is start replin' to post in the area you are going visit so they can get of feel of your personality....

As for your other questions, maybe wickedmilf will chime in.... she is SA's out of state traveling lady that has great advice for the questions you asked!
Yeah, Austin went down hill for SA's ladies...no profit for the expense paid out...well, let me rephrase that...there is a profit, if you offer the full menu plus....

Also, you might consider getting a review posted that might help, too!

Sincerely,
Wet

The SoHo area is unique but probably not as good for business.

You might check the Eros site for NYC to get a feel for rates
And its goes with out saying that taxis are the only way to travel in Manhattan
good luck
I totally agree with ammonite. At one time I lived in the northeast and used to travel to NYC on business. I always liked Midtown Manhatten. If you use priceline three star hotel for midtown mantatten for 100-120 bucks a night you should get a very nice hotel. Usually matches me up with the Marriott on 47th, the Lexington on 48th, intercontinental across from the marriott.

Taxis are the best way to get around in Manhatten. Some great clubs there also. Feel free to PM me for any additional info.
I certainly agree that having a review on this site would help; however we all knowguys do not post reviews for girls such as my self.

I think because of the expense of NYC, it is quite reasonable to increase your rate there.

But ladies, let's not be doing that down here. LOL

Good luck with your trip!

My first suggestion for NYC is Eros to test the waters, then move to P411.

Also you might want to let them know your a TS

Yep. I've got to agree Mid-Town on the Island is probably your best bet.

Wait, you're not planning on going this weekend, are you? If so, you're probably going to be out-of-luck in mid-town due to that big ball that starts dropping on 12/31/2011. (Although if you are planning on celebrating this weekend--bringing in the New Year and you've already acquired accommodations, I hate you, lucky f'n bits! j/k)

I'm not sure what the provider-market there is like but it's significantly more expensive there as opposed to here so you're certainly going to have to adjust your rates accordingly.

I'd also suggest that you wonder into the New York forums here on ECCIE and get a feel for the people there. Perhaps if you were to send a friendly private message to anita germane (a female NY moderator)
maybe she could offer assistance? It doesn't hurt to try.

At any rate, good luck, be safe, and have FUN!

Being the only New Yorker here it's only right that I chime in. Find a place in Seacaucus NJ. Around Giants stadium. The hotels are nice and not hot. The city is a 15-20 min drive away. There will be access to the Lincoln Tunnel as well as the George Washington Bridge. There are no nice hotels in the Bronx(I'm homesick now). Manhattan is expensive unless you find one more uptown but then they get trashy. There are ok ones in Queens near the airports(JFK & Laguardia) but they are crawling with LE and pimps. Downtown Brooklyn has a newly built hotel as well. 5 minute drive to Manhattan. Staten Island is too far if you want to make money.
