Hobbying do's and don'ts

I'm starting this thread to be informative to newcomers. Most has been said but threads like these can be quite helpful. Hobbyists and providers welcome to participate! I have run into these issues with several guys who have references, so it isn't necessarily a newbie thing.

Don't send naked pictures to providers. That's so craigslist!
Don't ask what the donation is IF it is clearly stated in the ad.
Do send as much information in the initial contact (email). Send references with additional information. I saw --- from ---- a few weeks ago at her incall at ---. She knows me as ---- from---. This cuts down on back on back and forth emails. You may think a provider will remember you as mike from baton rouge, but please understand the crazy amount of correspondence we get. It gets hard to keep up with an email name vs an eccie name bs a real name or a fake email name. We don't have to be high volume to have a hard time keeping up.

Dont be a pussy. (can I say that?). If you change your mind or can't make an appointment just call or text. I personally don't sit around with my hair and make up done. I like to be properly groomed from head to toe when I have a date. I try to be accommodating for last minute appointments. A little respect goes a long way. I can handle a cancellation, I have a hard time tolerating flakes.

Do read the ad before you call. This will eliminate much wasted time.

Great thread Heidi...

Don't bring your wallet, ring, valuables into a session. Leave them in the car -- when possible. You already should have the rate from the ad or when you setup the date. Bring the agreed upon amount and extra for tip. That's it.

Happy hobbying and stay safe.
Absolutely a great thread! Heidi already touched on most of the important issues. So much wasted time, going back and forth! Check and see if the lady doesn't mind text messages, some DO NOT like text messages. I don't mind a few, but a phone call is mandatory at some point. And if you text, please don't send a War and Peace novel in the making! Its hard to put on mascara and text at the same time!

great post/answers!

Also make an extra car door key and leave your regular set hidden in car{unless you trust the provider 100%}

dress as casual as possible..esay on/easy off clothes{unless you have no choice..slip on shoes are great!

when going to a hotel and calling the provider for the room number...don't repeat the room number over the phone!

When going to a hotel you are not familiar with,ask the layout of the elevater to front door

take a comb in with you so you can leave looking "fresh" and not "just fu&ked"!
Yes! On do not repeat the room number over the phone while standing in the lobby..
How do you guys and girls feel about PMs? It's difficult for me because I often work from an iphone and reception can be an issue. As an initial contact, I think it's fine. The back and forth is difficult.
I like the thread, but have a question for the providers. I know you said to mention information about previous providers, but that is why we have p411. I signed up, get provider OKs. Now I just mention I am provider verified on my p411 account, so references is a minimal problem for them. She can pick from providers she knows and trusts. Does anyone have a problem with that, or should I still give more information?
If she asks for references separate from p411 than she may not be a member or uses other screening rather than solely relying on one site.

Another good DO is if you meet a lady online and reference you p411 membership or your ECCIE or TER handle always make sure you send the lady a PM other the designated name so that she can be 100 percent sure you really are who you present yourself to be.

Mriley--that works for me! I also love p411 where the guys fill out extra info on their profile....helps me get a "feel" for him and what he likes

{it is too obvious to deskclerks}
