Logged in hoping for a couple of laughs, a little light entertainment. Would've been better off stabbing my hand with a ballpoint pen, this place is turning into a ghost town!

In my eyes, many of the threads that are actually interesting and valuable get closed quickly. Caused by, what seems, the laughs and light entertainment turning into digs, name calling, white knighting, and mean hearted replies.

Again, I might refer you to your own signature, which seems to me, to encourage such behaviors.

Not that you'd wish to hear any suggestion from me, I will post this in hope that some may seek retrospection of their own posts. Perhaps instead of posting about a ghost town, you could develop a topic starter or two. I was impressed with Justapervert's recent threads, as I see a positive initiative to contribute to the board. I fully respect this from all the members, even when I do not care for all the topics.

There is never a need to close a thread. If they don't die of natural causes their ghost just comes back to haunt us. And the ill feelings just grow larger and deeper.

As for me taking your signature line too seriously, I'm actually a very serious type of person who has a playful and pleasant heart, and a humor that not too many people always catch. Additionally, I am only responsible for what I say, not for what you understand.
