San Antonio Spring Sports: Scorpions or Talons

It just donned on me that soon San Antonio Scorpions (soccer) will be starting this spring as well as the San Antonio Talons (arena football). I wonder if both will be well received or will it be one or the other. Or do they both lose eventually. Are there other losers also> (i.e. Spurs, Rampage....as in less attendance)

What do you all think?

Sad to say but SA does not have a market for sports, especially in a city where the Spurs dominate the sports scene. There is a specific reason that we do NOT have a professional football team nor any plans in the near future. Sure we can make a 1 time statement like with UTSA football's first game attendance but where was the support after that? It would take commitment from the fans, something that is missing from our community!!!

The collective income of the people here is just simply not enough to support a professional team from the NFL or MLB in addition to what is already here. There is just not enough.
