I don't know enough about fracking to have an opinion; however, I sure don't want to drink toxic water or water that bubbles...unless it's a carbonated drink!

This "fracking" process has been around for a while and was actually developed by the government(Dept of Energy) to assist corporations to access these pockets of gas in the 70's.
The concerns over this process are many and they include groundwater contamination, radioactive contamination and disruption of the bedrock below that some geologists say have already caused earthquakes.
What doesn't help is that these companies will not release the chemical composition of the fluids they are injecting below and many say it's because they are toxic
You know that here in S.A. and surrounding areas, is an aquifer that contains our drinking water called the Edwards Aquifer. The Edwards Aquifer is our only source of drinking water and it is incredibly sensitive to contamination.
President Obama is supportive of this process under strict regulation and what exactly that is we don't know. I'm not supportive of fracking in our area but maybe in others it is less risky. I understand that we will be using this process here and I hope that we don't regret it.
Sincerely,
