Why so many providers in texas?

pinchy's Avatar
Im just curious as to why it seems dallas and texas in general is the escort capitol of the US.

Just basic searches of various large cities on ECCIE seems to show that texas has 10x as many results compared to other cities of similar population. Is it that ECCIE is just more popular for this part of the US as compared to others?

Or is there some cultural or historical thing Im not aware of with dallas/texas? Note that im not originally from texas so it would be interesting to get some locals ideas or opinions on why this is.

my opionion. DFW has a lot of local girls who grow up with the belief and pressure to achieve and/or maintain a certain societal standard. Take for example the iconic Dallas female portrayed by the Ewing women of the "Dallas" TV series, Neiman Marcus, Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders etc. That takes money....they either are born or marry into it.....work hard and wait for it, as in "legit" profession.....or get into the quick money by stripping/providing. in any case DFW women are driven to succeed..They and want and know how to get money. Mix that with a large population percentage of men with expendable incomes, a comparitively oblivious and permissive LE and a city layout that allows for anonymity, such as spread out and seperate residential, mulit-family and business districts with quick and easy access, and a nationally central location . and voila! a hotbed for providers to succeed and a mecca for out of town providers to come to. Not to mention a vahalla for us hobbyists who know a good thing when we see it.

Though I won't call the LE oblivious, with how DFW is spread out, they have more important things to worry about. It's a side of Dallas that people know exists but don't readily acknowledge. I found it surprising that a LOT of the superbowl talk locally was about the strip clubs.

The economy is bad. Jobs are scarce. They hobby to help make ends meet. If there lucky they meet some nice guys and then anything is possible.

I think LE is much more tolerant here too. As long as it's not flaunted it's a live and let live attitude. (plus, officers are probably some of these ladies best customers )

I suspect that many other locations have similar provider density - they just don't have the active and visible board that we enjoy here.
I also think the economy is a factor. I do travel and I lived in a another city. The economy in Texas as whole is good. The disposable income is alot more compared to other states. I believe if the economy were to tank , providers would leave in droves

Texas in general and Dallas/Ft. Worth in particular have always had the reputation as being a "fun" city. Hell "Best little whorehouse in Texas" was down by Houston and what is now Sundance square used to be a great red light district.....Butch Cassidy and Sundance used to rob trains and then come to Ft. Worth to spend the money...on booze and women...Most towns of any size used to have "red light" districts and "china towns" where (forbidden subject) used to be tolerated and gambling was wide open.
Its a Texas thing.....and thank God it is.
