And, genius, we brought over the British Common Law with us when we came over here, so it is ours as well. But precedents set post 1789 should be American. We don't need to go to recent foreign law to decide what we should do in this country. But If you like Justice Ginsburg, remember, she doesn't think our Constitution should be a model for any country, rather they should look to South Africa and other countries. So what can we do?
