Best places to live

I may have to move to San Antonio from Austin pretty soon. What are the best areas to live? Where should I avoid?

North side of San Antonio.

Avoid the southside, east side, and west side. The Northwest, North, and Northeast are all good areas.

I did the Northside thing, since relocated downtown and loving it. You are safe checking out the peripheries:

South of DT: King William, So Flo;
North of DT: Monte Vista, Alta Vista, Pearl Brewery area;

Plenty of cool locales. Drive around, feel the vibe. And good luck.
