You could eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches EVERY day for years.. then one day you saturate and are now bored with it. Pretty soon you are sprinkling all kinds of spices, vegetables, and weird roots and unnameable crap on your food just to keep it interesting.... Sex is the same way... So is everything. Unfortunately THAT very DNA encoded human trait is why long term marriage doesn't really work (unnatural) and there are so many divorces. In the old days you had the extra insentive that you needed a partner to even SURVIVE (so you didn't get bored cause people were attacking you're ass on the frontier and you were too busy trying to find food...)
