Ok, last night while I'm asleep my phone gets s text from a provider who has to cancel today. My SO reads the text and oh shit. I had her number in my contacts under a guys name but my SO said it had to be a woman. I told her I have no idea who it was and they must of had the wrong number, no dice because name came up. Any advice what or how I can get out of this one.
Lie. And stay consistent. Whatever you tell her, stick with your story. As soon as your story changes, they got you.
Good luck.
Stick with the it's my buddy story! Erase the number and contact so she can't see it again. Hopefully it blows over. Get a hobby specific phone and hide it in your vehicle,somewhere like behind ashtray or fuse area.
fess up, apologize and live with the consequences. Hope you get to keep the house.
Hobby Phone. Hobby phone. Hobby Phone.
+1 on the hobby phone. How anyone risks using their regular phone baffles me. OK, if all else fails, and the SO won't drop it, here's the plan. Arrange with the provider (hopefully someone who really likes you and/or huge amounts of cash) to have a man, your "buddy," answer her phone at a specific date and time. At the right hour, provoke a heated discussion with the SO on the topic, and tell her..."Well, call the fucking number (from YOUR phone, duh) if you don't believe me.". Have "buddy" answer with his "name," and the conversation will go something like "did you text so and so last night?" "Buddy says "ya, texted the wrong number, and I don't even remember the fucker, anyhow....sorry.". Delete the number, and , oh ya, go to radio shack and get a nearly free hobby phone.
If THAT fails, Becky Beaver is one of the best divorce lawyers in town. Good luck.
It is too late, look for good divorce lawyer an a place live.

I have Mozilla set up to dump my history and cookies when I sign off. Then I was stupid enough to get a "smart" phone. I can "hide/delete" the obvious info but "Contacts" is showing everyone with whom I have communicated. Sprint tells me it's in Google's database and can't be deleted. Now I have a hobby phone, but I do live in fear of getting a call from a former acquaintance that will be identified on my phone screen. Ain't technology great? Big Brother is indeed watching...but we invited him in!!
wow so sorry that happened to you, my advice would be to schedule via e-mail that way nobody would be calling you directly to cancel. The provider should have known better then to call a client late a night with no notice. That was very unprofessional on her end in my opinion. Ally
Thanks all I'll let you all know how it goes or doesn't darn it!!! I just cant stop this darn hobby!!!!

))))
