Convenient Incall Locations

Hello Ladies & Gents of ECCIE!

I am very excited to be coming down for a visit in about a week, but could use some pointers on nice, safe and convenient areas to host and stay at. I will not have a vehicle so staying close to stores or restaurants are ideal. Any areas that I should avoid?

HI kourtney .. i personally think airport area near northstar is great along with ih10 from callaghan to ih10 to 1604 .. and pretty much anything near the highways for easy access on and off ..

You should be fairly safe around the airport or medical center areas.

I think that since you won't have a vehicle, the med center area would be best. There are a number of decent restaurants in the area as well as some good hotels.

I might even volunteer to be a tour guide/chauffeur if needed. : )

I usually stay in med center or airport...........safe & convenient

Yup Kourtney, those are the most popular areas for mongering.
(Med. Center/Airport).

The Riverwalk/Downtown is really nice and is a great area to visit, but it poses too many obstacles for most mongers. (parking, possibility of being spotted in the crowd, general downtown hassles, etc.). So as much as I love it down there (yes, down there too! Teehee!), I'd suggest the two areas suggested by those above.

Darter just so happens to be on The San Antonio Monger's Visitor's Welcoming Committee and he makes an excellent tour guide. Just make sure that he has his jumper cables in the car, or that he leaves the car running and you should be fine. heh!

LOL Yep SKF, I have brand new jumper cables to go along with my old heap a well as a list of people all around town that I can call on in case there aren't any good Samaritans around! Keep thinking about getting a new car, but the payments would cut into my hobby money : )

As far as downtown, he's right about that as well. Much nicer hotels and eateries than the airport or med center, but a pain for a lot of folks.

One other thing to consider is that Fiesta is right around the corner and that makes for one hella' fun time in case one wishes to get a real taste of the flavor our fair city has to offer.


...and since Darter has to be home before sundown on days ending with a "y"... well, I'm just saying that one doesn't have to twist my arm too hard to be called upon to parade a beautiful visitor around our friendly little city. LOL!

No brother, you got it bassackwards. I have to be back in my coffin before sunup not sundown. Otherwise I get ashy ; )... Also SKF prolly knows the "nice" spots better than I do...

Fiesta can be a whole lot of fun, but only if you like crowds, which I don't tolerate as well as I did in my younger years. If you want to go to fiesta, SKF would be a good tour guide...
