Trimming/shaving pubic hair -- advice from the pros?

Hey ladies, and any gents that have experience too.

How do you all get nice and clean down there, especially closer to between your legs between vagina and anus and between them and the insides of the thighs.

Doing that with razor is just not practical for all women. I've been reading some about wet/dry shavers. Seems they have varieties for men and women, but I am wondering if that makes any difference at all.

Any real world experience with them around the bottom end?

I've been shaving with a Norelco Body Groom, but I am not likeing it. Seems to be more likely to nick than I'd like, since its got side trimmers that are there to take off longer hair. What I am thinking is that a standard shaver, used daily, and used after a good careful initial trim, perhaps with help from a friend using a razor -- well that might just work.

Anyone doing that?

I use fusion pro glide power razor, I have sensitive skin and I get no nicks, I absolutely love it. But it's important to stay trimmed! Lol to me I guess
I use the same as darkside fusion pro glide power razor. when going in sensitive area's to avoid nicks i take a new razor and shavemy legs first (super sharp blade easier to nick area's...same as dull blade)
There's been a couple threads about this in the past.

There's a cream that KCQuestor uses and highly recommends that removes hair with no shaving involved. Hopefully he'll see this thread and give the name.

A few people have said they love it and it'll keep you from any cuts/nicks.

Unless you'd trust a lady friend to shave you.
But the Gillette Proglide is still a razor. As admitted -- it will do nicks at times. I am looking for a nick proof solution.

I assume that someone uses a wet/dry shaver. True that they are less perfect than a razor, but sometime a compromise is necessary...

Been using it every since that one thread !

Works pretty dang good, smells a little odd.
Not as good as shaving but with no itch at all.
Thank you EE, that is what I was referring to.

Try this stuff dhcharles, you'll be way happy with it.

Does that stuff make it so hair never grows in that spot again or what? I heard something like that happening with one of these products.
Do the ladies like groomed or totally bare. If hair, then how much is ok. I know when DATY, coming up with a hair in the mouth can ruin the moment. What are the thoughts?
No, hair will still grow back there. Its just like waxing, the hair is gone for a certain amount of time.

Dawg, I think most ladies will say that even if you just trim the hair down there, that's great. I personally love a man who is shaved or keeps it well groomed.

No one like to cough up a hairball.

Thanks ElumEno. Saved me the trouble of finding the picture.

I get it at Walgreen's but it is available at other places (never seen it at CVS though). It is cheap, one bottle lasts for 3-4 applications and only costs a couple of bucks.

For me, it is better than shaving. I imagine that results may vary based on your hair type. My balls are smooth for weeks. My pubic hair gets stubbly after a week or so and I touch it up with a razor.

I never feel any burning, but a couple people have told me they thought it was uncomfortable. The only thing that keeps me from using it a lot is the inconvenience. You smear it all over and stand there like an idiot for 8 minutes, then wash it off in the shower. It also smells kind of rank.

The cream is made specifically for men who shave their heads and is marketed mostly to black men.

Ask your barber for a shave. The staight razor he uses will have the closest shave. Just overlook the fact that every barber is 100 years old and my not have steady hands anymore.
I love DATY and choke on hairs. So trimmed it will be. So will it be a #1 or #2 blade? Tight or tighter? Any hairdressers want to give me a trim?

How ladies shave is different than men. For the most part, ladies are smooth with out the bumps and ridges you find on a man's balls. So we have to strech skin to get to all the hairs. Hard to do one handed.

Get a lady friend or Ms. Elena as a barber.

I must be getting to old, in my youth the big bush was in, then the trimmed bush, then the landing strip, then bare. I imagine that some day we will go retro.

Yeah the cream works but be sure to use it a day or more before you plan on seeing someone because it does stink and I think a woman would rather have a few stubbles then a stink when she goes there.
