Congrats to KU. My partner is a huge fan. When they win he is a much happier person to be around. Just wish MU hadn't flamed out and could have played KU in the final.

I think KU will have a hard time getting to the Championship...but KU wasnt expected in 1988, 2008 to get that far either

The icing on the cake would be taking it all, but I agree wacking the Roy designed boys by not just a little bit was great--especially with candid camera showing the panic attack of the day. I have never seen a guy unnecessarily slit as many throats as he did on his way out of Lawrence. That alone was reason enough for a trouncing.

I also like that CBS has Frank Martin doing commentary. I know the debate about that being self serving and all, but that is secondary to my interest. How often do you get a superior coach from a sister college also with a superior rebuilding team and competitor to do that? Very insightful. And it gives you an idea of how they think as well as how they do what they do. That is a seminar not often available to the average fan.

The only way you could make it better would be if Bob Davis calls the game on national TV, but I doubt that will happen. I think I'll turn up the radio with him next week and turn down the TV sound. What a great commentator. Kansas has had it all around this year and it's great. And nothing ever happens here. Right.

Ugh. Bob Davis. When listening to Royals games I have to stick something sharp in my ears. Still not as bad as the MU announcers but.... At least fucking Max isn't there anymore.

Small Fact KU has more final four appearances (14) than MU has wins in the first round (13) and I'm including the wins in 1993 when they had to later forfeit those games.
