Dealy Wads in Front of Thread Title

There are two narrow columns in front of every thread/review.

The first column tells you how many posts you have in the thread by running your pointer over the graphic.

What is the second column for?

I've seen different graphics in those, everything from emoticons to punctuation marks (?, !, etc). Who puts those there and why?

I know, I need to get a life.

I asked a provider to Dealy Wad me one time. She slapped me.

Glad you figured it out. Took me forever till noticed where the symbols were
